Ian and Zoe and co are very welcoming and friendly, and the food and atmosphere is just great.
First visit to this nice country pub whilst in the area visiting relatives. Nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff and local regulars. Food was very tasty and well served with a varied selection of veg. Small sweet menu included couple of"different"items and very enjoyable. Just happened to have my favourite beer on tap although apparently not permanently.
We had our wedding reception here earlier in the year. The food, the accommodation and the atmosphere were all brilliant. Highly recommended.
Visiting a friend in Scarborough and he said he'd wanted to try the food here for quite a while, so after dropping a coach off in Pickering we booked a table. What a delight! Lovely menu; not too big but enough variety with a lovely Game specials at the time of our visit. Very reasonably priced too. Excellent value for money.
Excellent country Inn, room large and well equipped. Bed large and comfortable. Food very good. Lamb is reared by the owners. Owners and staff Very friendly and helpful. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. Thoroughly recommended.
