Nice relaxing place to have a holiday! Not alot to do though. Swimming centre shut. Shop Shut. Amusements Shut. No access to Beach either.
Lovely park with excellent on site facilities, just a shame no measures have been put in for beach access since the path eroded. Park well maintained and staff wonderful. Plenty to do in all weather.
We have spent a week here with family. The surrounding area is beautiful and the park is lovely and quiet. Downside was the caravan, wasn't very clean and very basic could of been cleaner and the beds weren't very comfortable. The shower head was held together with a nut so you couldn't attach it to the holder but the pressure was good.
Beautiful clean caravan, food & entertainment was great, the kids loved it, didn't wait long for the food & the food we had was very nice, probably pay the same in a pub for what we had, the only thing that put me off is we were close to farmer's field's & throughout the day he was letting off very loud bangs, this would go on till about around 11pm & would start around 6-7am in morning, so never got a lay in which I was gutted about as it was my first week off work in month's! Apart from the noisy farmer we enjoyed staying here.
We just got back from a weekend away here. The touring pitch was almost level, and had plenty of space for our tourer. The facilities were clean, only let down by no hand dryer and the step in is awkward due to my disability. The arcade is good for the kids, the ticket value is poor though. (10,000 tickets for a unbranded NERF gun.)The pool was good and reasonably warm, they even had an armband system giving time allowances (60 minutes) if it was busy. The security staff on booking in were extremely friendly and a credit to the team. There were 2 negatives to our stay. The first being, the dogs in the pitch next to us barked till after midnight ( that's when I finally fell asleep). Nothing the site could do. The second being, there was a group of teenagers (I'm guessing) that were on the park making lots of noise till 23:30. One thought it was hilarious to do knock a door, run. (They should have been moved on by security, bearing in mind it was dark by 20.30)They left the park in a mess too. Overall, we enjoyed it and are booked to visit again in just over a month.
