Opened specialy for myself and my part of friends .proper home cooked steak pie very large portion ! Nothing was to much trouble ! We will be going back very soon .thanks to Mike and Marcia for looking after us so well .
It is not a destination pub, but you have to commend someone for keeping it going because village pubs are fading fast and need all the help that they can get. I would call in and try it for yourself, but do not take someone you are trying to impress just in case you are trying to impress the one you are with.
Lovely country pub with real ale and excellent traditional food with large portions, we'll worth a visit.
Friendly village pub serving good "Pub Grub". No loud music; therefore you can converse over a drink or a meal without having scream to to be heard in a conversation.If you wish to partake of the Sunday lunch it is advisable to pre-book a table.
Just had one of the nicest meals I have ever had. Can't fault the service or the food. Both first class.
